And as I tuck that little girl in--as I tuck that little girl in and her little sister into bed at night, you see, I--I think about how one day, theyll have families of their own and how one day, they--and your sons and daughters--will tell their own children about what we did together in this election. Theyll tell them--Theyll tell them how this time, we listened to our hopes instead of our fears; how this time--how this time, we decided to stop doubting and to start dreaming; how this time, in this great country--where a girl from the South Side of Chicago can go to college and law school, and the son of a single mother from Hawaii can go all the way to the White House--that we committed ourselves--we committed ourselves to building the world as it should be. So tonight, in honor of my fathers memory and my daughters future, out of gratitude for those whose triumphs we mark this week and those whose everyday sacrifices have brought us to this moment, let us devote ourselves to finishing their work; let us work together to fulfill their hopes; and lets stand together to elect Barack Obama President of the ed States of America. Thank you. God bless you, and God bless America. Its easy to say that youre going to encourage feedback 当然说鼓励反馈容易but its hard to do 做起来难because unfortunately it doesnt always 因为听到的反馈come in a format we want to hear it 往往不是我们想要的那种When I first started at Google 当我刚开始在Google工作时I had a team of four people 我的团队里面有四个人and it was really important to me 所以对我而言that I interview everyone who was on my team 由我自己来面试团队的每个成员就尤其重要It felt like being part of my team meant I had to know you When the team had grown to about 100 people I realized it was taking longer to schedule my interviews So one day at my meeting of just my direct reports I said maybe I should stop interviewing 我说也许我应该停止面试fully expecting them to jump in and say 那时我完全预计他们会打断我说no, your interviews are a critical part of the process 不行 你的面试是流程中很重要的一步They applauded 然而他们都对此非常赞赏Then they fell over themselves explaining that 然后他们转过来解释说I was the bottleneck of all time 我一直都是流程中的瓶颈I was embarrassed 我先是觉得羞愧Then I was angry and I spent a few hours just quietly fuming Why didnt they tell me I was a bottleneck? Why did they let me go on slowing them down? Then I realized that if they hadnt told me 后来我明白了 如果没人告诉我it was my fault 那这就是我的错I hadnt been open enough 我还不够开怀told them that I wanted that feedback 没有告诉他们 我想要他们的反馈and I would have to change that going forward 我决定从此改变这点When youre the leader 当你是领导it is really hard to get good feedback and honest feedback 得到有用的真实的反馈是很难的no many how many times you ask for it 哪怕你反复要求One trick Ive discovered is that 我发现的一个小技巧I try to speak really openly about the things Im bad at 是尝试主动地谈论你的某些缺点because that gives people permission to agree with me 因为这样会让人愿意来认同我which is a lot easier than pointing it out in the first place 这比直接指出我的缺点要容易许多To take one of many possible examples 从众多可能中举个例子来说when things are unresolved I can get a tad anxious 当事情没有搞定时 我会有点焦躁Really, when anythings unresolved 真的 只要有事情没有搞定I get a lot anxious Im quite certain no one has accused me of being too calm

Good morning. Last night, the ed States carried out an air strike in Raqqa, Syria, targeting Mohammed Emwazi – the ISIL executioner known as Jihadi John. We cannot yet be certain if the strike was successful. But let me be clear. I have always said that we would do whatever was necessary, whatever it took, to track down Emwazi and stop him taking the lives of others. We have been working, with the ed States, literally around the clock to track him down. This was a combined effort. And the contribution of both our countries was essential. Emwazi is a barbaric murderer. He was shown in those sickening s of the beheadings of British aid workers. He posed an ongoing and serious threat to innocent civilians not only in Syria, but around the world, and in the ed Kingdom too. He was ISILs lead executioner, and let us never forget that he killed many, many Muslims too. And he was intent on murdering many more people. So this was an act of self-defence. It was the right thing to do. Today, I want to thank the ed States: the ed Kingdom has no better friend or ally. And I want to pay tribute to all those professionals in our own security and intelligence agencies and armed forces for the extraordinary work they do on behalf of our country. On this, as so often, theyve been working hand-in-glove with their American colleagues. We are proud of them. If this strike was successful, and we still await confirmation of that, it will be a strike at the heart of ISIL. And it will demonstrate to those who would do Britain, our people and our allies harm: we have a long reach, we have unwavering determination and we never forget about our citizens. The threat ISIL pose continues. Britain and her allies will not rest until we have defeated this evil terrorist death cult, and the poisonous ideology on which it feeds. Today though, my thoughts, and the thoughts of our country, are with the families of those who were so brutally murdered. Japanese citizens Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa, American journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley and aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig. And of course our own citizens. Aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning. Nothing will bring back David and Alan. Their courage and selflessness stand in stark contrast to the empty callousness of their murderers. Their families and their friends should be proud of them, as we are. They were the best of British and they will be remembered long after the murderers of ISIL are forgotten.

Good evening, everybody. I just want to make a few brief comments about the attacks across Paris tonight. Once again, weve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians. This is an attack not just on Paris, its an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share. We stand prepared and y to provide whatever assistance that the government and the people of France need to respond. France is our oldest ally. The French people have stood shoulder to shoulder with the ed States time and again. And we want to be very clear that we stand together with them in the fight against terrorism and extremism. Paris itself represents the timeless values of human progress. Those who think that they can terrorize the people of France or the values that they stand for are wrong. The American people draw strength from the French peoples commitment to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. We are reminded in this time of tragedy that the bonds of liberté and égalité and fraternité are not only values that the French people care so deeply about, but they are values that we share. And those values are going to endure far beyond any act of terrorism or the hateful vision of those who perpetrated the crimes this evening. Were going to do whatever it takes to work with the French people and with nations around the world to bring these terrorists to justice, and to go after any terrorist networks that go after our people. We dont yet know all the details of what has happened. We have been in contact with French officials to communicate our deepest condolences to the families of those who have been killed, to offer our prayers and thoughts to those who have been wounded. We have offered our full support to them. The situation is still unfolding. Ive chosen not to call President Hollande at this time, because my expectation is that hes very busy at the moment. I actually, by coincidence, was talking to him earlier today in preparation for the G20 meeting. But I am confident that Ill be in direct communications with him in the next few days, and well be coordinating in any ways that they think are helpful in the investigation of whats happened. This is a heartbreaking situation. And obviously those of us here in the ed States know what its like. Weve gone through these kinds of episodes ourselves. And whenever these kinds of attacks happened, weve always been able to count on the French people to stand with us. They have been an extraordinary counterterrorism partner, and we intend to be there with them in that same fashion. Im sure that in the days ahead well learn more about exactly what happened, and my teams will make sure that we are in communication with the press to provide you accurate information. I dont want to speculate at this point in terms of who was responsible for this. It appears that there may still be live activity and dangers that are taking place as we speak. And so until we know from French officials that the situation is under control, and we have for more information about it, I dont want to speculate. Thank you very much.201511/411433 福州市妇保医院做彩超B超价格闽清县人流医院
